Residential Carpenter and QA Officer

Tasks and roles of this position:

Perform Fit-offs and QA works for handovers of homes.

Assist the construction manager and supervisors in their tasks as required.

Oversee the training and management of a company apprentice carpenter who will be you co-worker from September onwards.

Perform some carpenter tasks as required on our homes.

Self-management of your tasks and role through communication with the construction manager.

Required attributes for the role:

A keen eye on detail and quality.

Patience and the ability to problem solve any issues as they arrive.

Knowledge in correct installation of common construction methods and the ability to source and utilise new installation requirements as required.

At least ten years’ experience in the field – preferably 15 plus years’ experience.

Additional experience can be considered ILO years in the trade. i.e.: building / surveying / leading hand in addition to carpenters cert 3 certification.
